This project aims to create new behavior, including increasing the amount of conversation and meaningful communication in a family unit.

"FeelFusion" is a groundbreaking project designed to empower children to articulate and share their feelings effectively, while simultaneously providing parents with different prompts to talk about them with their children and to be prepared for them.

Parents, stay connected through the intuitive app. Children, express and share feelings effortlessly with the engaging smart tool.

Research

Open Communication matters!

In the context of family dynamics, this data prompts us to consider the profound impact these challenges may have on familial relationships, creating a pressing need for interventions that can facilitate open communication, strengthen emotional bonds, and nurture healthier connections within families.

Low conformity, difficulty in real & open communication, and lack of good topics and starters to communication increase the chances of forming Unbound & Protective families, where low levels of communication and interactions directly affect family bonds and well-being.

How might we create a smart tool that facilitates meaningful and empathetic communication between parents and children?

As a UI/UX designer, I aimed to create a transformative and user-centric experience that not only empowers children but also provides parents with intelligent and smooth processes to nurture stronger connections with their children.

Ideation

So, Who is Emo?

Emo is a child-friendly interface that connects seamlessly with the Emo App on parents' phones. With real-time updates, Emo empowers children and parents to stay connected with each other. This tool brings some digital prompts into real-time communication, fostering meaningful conversations that strengthen family bonds.

Prototyping

In the pursuit of creating an optimal user experience, I conducted rigorous user tests and interviews with child experts to finely shape our design criteria and features. By actively engaging with our target groups, we eliminated redundant features and incorporated straight-to-the-point, meaningful elements.
